SOLA Sunlens offers Glare Out II™, a premium polarized polycarbonate and CR sunlens, that exceeds today's standard in polarized lens manufacturing. Exclusively made for SOLA, Glare Out II™ polarized lenses are designed using proprietary multi-layered polarizing film and patented processing technology to deliver unsurpassed distortion free, enhanced vision, while maintaining maximum polarized glare reduction.
Glare Out II™ polycarbonate lenses are manufactured as a "one piece" injected polarized lens (as opposed to bent sheet processing). That is, the polarized film is incorporated into the lens during the injection process. Glare Out II™ CR lenses incorporate the new proprietary film technology in laminated lenses.
Using a unique high quality distortion free polarizing film that won't fade, warp, or crease, Glare Out II™ lenses are able to increase optical clarity and prolong product life. These Glare Out II™ lenses also include one of the industry's strongest hard coatings, increasing their durability and scratch resistance. The patented processing avoids any film delaminating and allows for full compatibility application with A/R, protective and mirror coatings. In addition, the new technology enables tighter controls over thickness warpage resulting in an aesthetically better looking lens!
