San Diego, CA (June 10, 2002) - SOLA Sunlens, leading manufacturer of premium plastic sunglass lenses, today announced the launch of Gradual-Eyes gradient tinted polycarbonate lenses. Gradual-Eyes offer the fashion forward colors of CR39 while delivering the same outstanding performance qualities found in SOLA Sunlens Tough Eyes™ polycarbonate lenses.
The experts at SOLA Sunlens are the first European lens manufacturer to develop a superior performance gradient tinted polycarbonate product for the fashion conscious consumer. These amazing new lenses capture the beauty and rich color palette of dip tinting without sacrificing the optical and performance benefits of polycarbonate lenses. Gradual-Eyes lenses are extremely durable and offer excellent scratch resistance in an ultra-lightweight material.
Gradual-Eyes gradient polycarbonate lenses not only exceed global standards; they provide Optical Class 1 (EN1836) with 100% UV protection. Available in gradient and double gradient tints, the Gradual-Eyes lenses offer a wide selection of colors and intensities while providing excellent adhesion compatibility with other performance coatings, such as: anti-reflective, mirrors and hydrophobic. With the same attributes of SOLA Sunlens UV Gard™, Gradual-Eyes lenses have the ability to match many of the vibrant tints and hues found in virtually all of SOLA Sunlenes existing lens collections.
